Showpiece of ash wood featuring a carinated pot shape and grooved texturing along the side.  The interior is ebonized with milk paint, creating a striking contrast with the exterior.  
 
It is once-turned from green wood.  Using still-wet wood produces wonderful--and unique--results, as the wood can warp and twist in unpredictable ways as it quickly dries.  The warping on this piece is subtle; you can see some evidence of it in the close-up photograph.
