Charismatic hollowform vessel of dogwood. This piece came from a dead and significantly rotted, though still standing, dogwood tree in North Carolina. It had become home to various insects, who left numerous tunnels that now give character to the piece. Likewise, the natural process of rotting left gaping holes and texture to the wood. The result is a genuinely one-of-a-kind (and recent art show award-winner) turned object.
